  1. High School Diploma of the Greek-French School ‘Kalamari’ (1988 – 1994), with an overall grade of 19 1/10 ‘Excellent’.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in law from the Democritus University of Thrace (1994-1998), with a grade of 7,686 ‘Very Good’.

I.K.Y. scholarship during the academic year 1995 – 1996.

  1. Postgraduate degree in Business and Labour Law from the Law School of the Democritus University of Thrace (1999 – 2000).
  2. Postgraduate degree (DEA) from the University of Paris IX – Dauphine in ‘Droit de l’entreprise’ (2000-2001).
  3. Doctoral Degree in Business Law and Labour Law from the Law School of Democritus University of Thrace (2015) with the grade “Excellent”.

  2. I speak French and hold the title “Sorbonne II” with distinction C. This qualification has been officially recognised by the competent department of the Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs and I have been granted a licence of qualification to teach French.
  3. I speak English and hold the “Proficiency” qualification with a grade C. This qualification has been officially recognised by the relevant department of the Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs and I have been granted a licence to teach English. I have received a certificate of training from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens – Centre for Training and Lifelong Learning for the training programme entitled ‘Legal English’.
  4. I speak Italian at the level of legal terminology.

 

III. Professional career

  1. From September 1998 to August 2000 I was a trainee lawyer at the Court of First Instance of Thessaloniki.
  2. In August 2000 I was appointed a lawyer at the Court of First Instance of Thessaloniki (GGC G’ 229/09.08.00), and in September 2004 I was promoted to the Court of Appeal of Thessaloniki (Decision 107/01.09.04 of the Court of Appeal of Thessaloniki) and in October 2008 to the Supreme Court.
  3. I am a partner in the law firm “L. Skalidis – H. L. L. Skalidis and Partners Lawyers – Legal Consultants”.
  4. I deal with business and energy law issues, as well as with the law of modern technology.
